- Generally, "spinel" is a collective designation of oxides having a spinel type structure expressed in chemical formula as RO · R2O3. On the other hand, SINTERED SPINEL (NSP Series) is magnesium-aluminum spinel (MgO·Al2O3) having a uniform, dense structure as a result of wet-blending, forming and firing selected raw materials.
- NSP-70 has a structure near the theoretical value of spinel. NSP-90 has a structure with excessive alumina with a part of alumina turned to a solid solution to spinel.
- SINTERED SPINEL is used for the lining refractories of molten steel ladles in the iron and steel industry, saggers for firing positive electrode materials in the lithium ion battery industry and special porcelains such as setters.
- This product has the following advantageous chemical and physical properties:
- High melting point
- High chemical stability
- High corrosion resistance against alkali and acid
- High volume stability
- High resistance to thermal shock
We treat various grain sizes for both NSP-70 and NSP-90.
NSP-70 3-1mm
NSP-70 -20μm
